What is the recommended order of use?
We recommend the following order of application:
- pH+ → Interior cleaning and alkaline pre-wash for the exterior (removes oils, insects, grease, and heavy dirt)
- pH- → Acidic pre-wash (removes water spots, mineral build-up, and helps with iron contamination)
- Neutral pH → Safe contact wash with foam and lubrication
- ULTRAviolet → Application of the ceramic coating with immediate water repellency
- Surface PREP → Final cleaning for interior, and ideal surface preparation before applying coatings on plastics and glass
- Final Touch Series → Finishing products for tires, trim, and interior surfaces
Can I use all products in one day?
Yes. The kit is designed to provide a full detailing session in a single use.
However, you can adapt the process depending on your vehicle's condition. For example, if there are no mineral stains, you may skip the pH- shampoo.
What’s the difference between pH+, pH-, and Neutral pH?
pH+ (Alkaline): Removes oils, bugs, grease, and organic grime. Can also be used as a all-purpose cleaner (APC).
pH- (Acidic): Removes water spots, mineral deposits, and helps with iron ontamination.
Neutral pH: A foamy, lubricated shampoo ideal for safe contact washing on painted surfaces.
Does OVERcoat ULTRAviolet replace wax?
Yes. ULTRAviolet is a ceramic coating with high water repellency and shine, and it lasts longer than traditional waxes.
It's also easier to apply, with options like foam gun, spray, or bucket wash.
How much product should I use per application?
It depends on the product and method, but each bottle is designed to provide multiple uses.
Refer to the user guide for recommended dilution ratios and usage tips.
Can I use the products individually?
Absolutely. You can use each item independently — for example, Final Touch TIRE just for the tires, or pH+ for interior cleaning.
Use them according to your vehicle’s condition and needs.
Can I use this kit on a car that already has a coating?
Yes. When properly diluted, the acidic and alkaline shampoos will not affect hard ceramic coatings already applied to the paint.
However, they may reduce the surface’s water repellency temporarily. Waxes, sealants, and lower-grade coatings may be stripped during washing.
To restore and enhance water beading, we recommend reapplying OVERcoat ULTRAviolet after washing.
Do the products have strong smells?
No. All products have gentle, pleasant fragrances to ensure a comfortable experience during use.
There are no harsh or chemical-like odors.
Can I use these products on motorcycles or other vehicles?
